How to Import Multiply Posts to Blogger

This may be a bit too late since it’s only less than a week before Multiply closes its doors to non-sellers but I hope it helps. I know a lot of Multiply who used to frequent the social network some three years ago but I’m sure they have no idea that by December 1, their accounts will no longer be accessible.

Multiply has decided to put an end to the content sharing and social network features of the site. This means your photos, blogs, videos, and messages will be gone on the first day of the Christmas month. Sad. 🙁

I asked the team behind Multiply if I could just pay Premium as before so I could keep my stuff but they declined. They said the ‘social network services will no longer be available after December 1‘. So yeah, I really had to back up my content. That’s 743 albums, 18 Notes, 511 Blog posts, 330 Videos, and 35 Songs.

Multiply has given us enough time but some people may have forgotten to backup their posts. Perhaps like me, you still haven’t imported your photos and are now afraid their photos will be gone forever. They will no longer be accessible to you but somewhere in the depths of the cyberworld, they will still exist. Anything deleted isn’t really deleted. It’s just floating somewhere. (Sorry na lang sa mga mahilig mag-post ng private sexy photos pero someday, they might be discovered. Just saying. Haha.)

So how do you import stuff you uploaded to Multiply?

  1. Sign in to your Multiply account at www.multiply.com/user/signin.
  2. Choose Download Media or Export to Bloggerfrom the links below your headshot.

  3. Choose ‘All Items’ on the Generate Blogger Export File page. Click OK. Continue reading How to Import Multiply Posts to Blogger

[Photos] Gateway Ekamai Mall in Bangkok Thailand

Since this Bangkok trip was all about family, we didn’t go out much except for trips to the mall and the grocery. On the first day, Josh and I went on a date in the evening as I still had to work in the afternoon. We went to that new mall in the corner of Ekkamai. My sister and her family live somewhere along the Ekkamai Road which is like Makati Avenue. I find their condo very convenient as it’s near the BTS — Bangkok Mass Transit System— their version of our MRT.  You can walk or ride a cab to the BTS Ekkamai Station.

The Gateway Ekkamai mall is located along Sukhumvit Road near the BTS Ekkamai Station. Each of the train station have malls like we do here so it’s really very convenient. We got to the Gateway Ekkamai at around 7:30 pm so we didn’t expect to see much. Good thing the stores close at 10 pm so we had enough time.

[Bangkok] To the Airport!

Two weeks too late. I figured it’s easier for me to share photos of our recent travel instead of writing about them. I’ll be posting different photoblog entries for each part or each day of our Bangkok trip because there are just too many. I’ve shared my UNIQLO Siam Paragon and Cath Kidston Bangkok shopping experience already but allow me to share more. 🙂

Off to the Clark Airport….

Thank you Lolo Abe for driving us to the Clark Airport! Happy Birthday!

SM Megamall: Next Level Malling (and Traffic)

I saw this sign while on the way to SM Megamall three weeks ago. As if the “malling” experience wasn’t already exciting, the management of SM still wants to take it to the next level. I was looking for a smaller caption that says ‘Next Level Traffic’ but saw none. Traffic in the area has always been bad as long as I can remember and with the Megamall expansion (yet again!), expect the EDSA-Crossing-Julia-Vargas-Ortigas area to be highly congested. Amazon Certified Frustration-Free Packaging

Earlier this month, I ordered The Brick Bible books and a red tricycle for Noah. My husband’s boss was visiting Manila from the US so we asked if he could bring the stuff. I placed my orders on a Monday, they arrived on the address the next day because I chose the One-Day Shipping option, and by Friday night, the items were in my hands.

Ordering at Amazon was easy and efficient. It’s a bit different from buying from eBay but is as convenient. This was the first time I ordered directly from Amazon which meant the items I purchased would be coming from Amazon warehouse and not from the sellers. Those are two different things unlike in eBay where you would be buying directly from the sellers.

Amazon offered free shipping on the items for Prime members. I forgot where exactly I chose the Frustration-Free Packaging option but I chose that one. I heard about this “greener” option offered by Amazon years ago but it’s only now that I got to see how Amazon packaged the items.

It’s true. Frustration-free as the books didn’t come in a big box or excessive packaging, they came wrapped in plastic and with a cardboard to hold them.

As for the trike which was bulky, it came in its own packaging. It was only in the SFO airport where it was packed in a bigger box–twice its size! Continue reading Amazon Certified Frustration-Free Packaging

[Bangkok] Cath Kidston in Thailand

One of the brands I super love is Cath Kidston. I fell in love with the vintagefeel and floral prints of the items. I learned about the company from Daphne. It was the first time I liked flower prints since I used to hate them. I guess I’m getting old. I used to cringe at the thought of flowery fabric and thought it was too girly. And then when I learned about Cath Kidston, I changed my mind.

I couldn’t find Cath Kidston in Manila two years ago. I searched eBay for Cath Kidston bags and bought these two.

Cath Kidston Oil-cloth Floral Bags

I use these two oil-cloth waterproof bags often because they’re very feminine and are waterproof.  Imagine my excitement when my sister told me that Cath Kidston was opening in Bangkok, Thailand. Finally, a store I could actually visit someday. It opened earlier this year. Right now, there are three stores in Bangkok. I happened to visit two: Cath Kidston Mega Bangna and a section in Siam Paragon Mall.

What’s a Washi Tape?

Washi tape? Ano yun? I’f you’re one of the millions asking what a washi tape is…let me tell you it’s just a pretty masking tape. Kikay masking tape.

I first saw rolls of cute washi tape in Bangkok. I bought a few although I didn’t know what to do with them. A roll is a bit pricey but like all cutesy stuff, washi tape is cute. The kind of stuff where you would waste your hard-earned money (like shoes, bags, etc.). I haven’t bought a roll of Washi Tape here in Manila but I’m familiar with a few sellers.

What can you do with a WASHI TAPE?

If you’re into DIYs….Do-It-Yourself not do-it-yaya… you’ll find a roll so helpful. Cut and paste. Tapos.

I saw this on Pinterest:

HOW MUCH IS A WASHI TAPE? A roll costs about a hundred. Medyo mahal. Continue reading What’s a Washi Tape?

500 Shaw Zentrum Grand Opening this Weekend

I have been to this building a few times already. The first time to buy the grocery at Super 8. It was then I discovered Office Busters at the parking lot where I fell in love with a leather sofa set and got heartbroken because it was sold already. I haven’t gone back to the grocery and the surplus store but I would always check out the latter’s website for great furniture deals. We’ve tried a few restaurants at the 500 Shaw Zentrum already with Army Navy as my and my husband’s favorite. We live only a few blocks so we would pass by it regularly. I’ve always been curious of this “mall”.  Next to SM Hypermart, this one is the nearest to our house. Pwede. Continue reading 500 Shaw Zentrum Grand Opening this Weekend

That Girl Rona

This was the eulogy I shared during my friend Onang’s memorial service. She died last May due to pneumonia. I had no idea she was sick so I had the shock of my life when I learned of her early demise. Her birthday is coming up so I thought I’d share this with our classmates and friends.

Jonalyn, Pamela, Ronabelle, Michelle, Katrina, Rassel, Julie Ann, and I during our grade school graduation

Like many of Rona’s friends present tonight, I was shocked when I found out about her passing. I couldn’t find the words to say. “Why her?”, I asked. Why so young? Questions ran through my mind but I realized we won’t find the answers in this lifetime. However, I know one day we will understand God’s reasons for allowing her early demise. But for now, even as we grieve, let’s allow the Lord to be our peace and comfort. Continue reading That Girl Rona
