Since this Bangkok trip was all about family, we didn’t go out much except for trips to the mall and the grocery. On the first day, Josh and I went on a date in the evening as I still had to work in the afternoon. We went to that new mall in the corner of Ekkamai. My sister and her family live somewhere along the Ekkamai Road which is like Makati Avenue. I find their condo very convenient as it’s near the BTS — Bangkok Mass Transit System— their version of our MRT. You can walk or ride a cab to the BTS Ekkamai Station.
The Gateway Ekkamai mall is located along Sukhumvit Road near the BTS Ekkamai Station. Each of the train station have malls like we do here so it’s really very convenient. We got to the Gateway Ekkamai at around 7:30 pm so we didn’t expect to see much. Good thing the stores close at 10 pm so we had enough time.
