School Boy

Our little one is now a pre-schooler. The new school our church has opened up is really a blessing. Waking up is still a struggle while I’m slowly getting used to commuting and walking. After more than five years after hibernation, this mommy is now ready to face the sun. (Obvious na nga may tanlines na ako.LOL!)

I have a tendency to write a “novel” about this new milestone in our life so I’ll just share photos. (Madami pa rin. 😀 )

THIS. IS. IT.
We can do more stuff together…

Parent Orientation…
Sleepy Boy
It took us some time to capture a nicer shot…
Are you ready?
With my classmate and teacher…
I’ve been waiting to do this my whole life…hahaha! I used the remaining labels from Noah’s Lego Party
Our very own home school…
Keep off the grass!
He actually enjoys doing homework with his daddy…
Wearing the flag t-shirt in honor of the Philippine Independence Day…
Playtime!
We have a runner….
…a future astronaut…
…a suplado in the making…
Mr. Pogi
Baby no more…
It’s so puticky. You let him run free and he came back looking like this. Sigh.
He seems to be enjoying school. Ang tanong: Do the teachers enjoy having him in class? Hihi.

It hasn’t been easy getting up each morning because of our previous setup. I am thankful that I have Joshua to serve as my alarm clock. He’s the one responsible to waking up, dressing up Noah, and give him his milk. We live 5 minutes away from the school but we  have to leave an hour before. He’s been late a few times already but I am determined to be more punctual— that Noah be like his dad, living by example, and not his mommy who was once called by her professor “Ms. Philippines” because of her tardiness. Hahaha!

This new ride has brought me so much joy. Oftentimes, I am too overwhelmed that I can do this–that Joshua and I can do this together for our son. I have let go of my other worries and mommy anxieties, decided to focus on how to become the kind of mother my mommy was when my siblings and I were in school. Glad that I have a husband, who like my dad, is supportive and understanding.

Grateful. Too grateful for this little boy. He may be ‘super kulit’ and ‘super likot’ but he is more than a blessing to me and my husband.

We have yet to learn about these things. It’s only God who can and who will shape us to become godly parents for Noah.

The living, the living, he thanks you, as I do this day;
the father makes known to the children your faithfulness.
Isaiah 38:19
